Tom Old is the owner of Alta Vista Consulting. Tom has extensive industry experience and training. He has the ability to work with teams to focus their efforts and improve their business and technical skills.
Tom has a variety of leadership experience in Information Technology, Marketing, Customer Support and Product Quality with Hewlett-Packard and Hughes Aircraft.
He has an MBA from the University of Arizona, with focused studies in Management Information and Operations. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics.
An active and supportive member of the Boise community, Tom serves on the Board of Directors of the Treasure Valley United Way and the Ore-Ida Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In addition, he is the chairman of the Whitney United Methodist Church Board.
He is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is a PMP, American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) and a charter member of the Boise Microsoft Project Users Group (MPA). He is a faculty member at the University of Phoenix, in the MBA and project Management. Tom is the "area chair" in project management for the Idaho campus.
